Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about repairs, used equipment, pricing, and how we work. Still have a question? Call or text (256) 272-1207.

Where are you located?

We're in Hanceville, Alabama - about 15 minutes south of Cullman - and we serve Cullman County and the surrounding North Alabama communities. Ask about pickup & delivery if you can't get to the shop.

What kinds of equipment do you work on?

Push mowers, riding mowers and lawn tractors, chainsaws, string trimmers and edgers, leaf blowers, generators, pressure washers, tillers, and most other small gas-engine outdoor power equipment - any brand.

How much does a repair cost?

Every repair starts with a diagnosis and an up-front price, so you know the cost before we begin. Many common fixes - like a carburetor cleaning or a blade sharpening - are quick and affordable.

How long will my repair take?

Most repairs are finished within a few business days. Simple jobs like blade or chain sharpening are often same-day or next-day. If a part has to be ordered, we'll let you know up front.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Yes - especially for riding mowers and heavier equipment that's hard to haul. Just ask when you call and we'll set it up.

My mower or generator sat all season and won't start. Can you fix it?

Almost always. Equipment that won't start after sitting usually has a gummed-up carburetor from old fuel - one of the most common and affordable repairs we do.

Do you sharpen mower blades and chainsaw chains?

We do, and it's quick and inexpensive. Bring your blade or chain in any time we're open, or leave the whole machine with us.

Do you sell used equipment?

Yes. We keep serviced, tested used mowers and outdoor power equipment in the shop. Every piece is gone through and started before it's sold, so you're not buying someone else's problem.

Do you sell parts?

We stock and can source common parts - filters, plugs, blades, belts, carburetors, and more. Ask us what you need.

What brands do you service?

All the major ones - Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Toro, Husqvarna, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Echo, Stihl, Poulan, and more. If it's a small gas engine, we can most likely help.

Should I fix my old equipment or replace it?

We'll tell you honestly. Often a repair is far cheaper than new - but if a machine isn't worth fixing, we'll say so and can point you to a serviced used one instead.

How do I buy a piece of equipment from you?

No online checkout - just call, come by the shop, or message us. We keep it simple and personal, and we'll make sure it starts and runs before you take it home.

Didn't find your answer? We're happy to help - no pressure, no jargon.
